At Soda, we love a challenges, and with Amaze, we achieved the creation of an all-in-one app that effortlessly combines trip planning, payment, and travel with diverse transport providers.
Mapping out a trip that involves multiple transport providers can be complex. Each provider has its own app, requiring users to navigate different interfaces to ensure their connections align smoothly. Amaze resolves this issue, allowing users to plan a seamless door-to-door trip with nearly any transport provider in the Netherlands, be it public transport, shared bikes, personal vehicles, or a combination of these options.
How it works:
Even the best-laid plans can go wrong, with potential train delays or metro disruptions. Amaze keeps users informed by providing real-time information that may impact their trips or travel behaviour. Additionally, the app offers alternative travel plans when necessary, ensuring users still reach their destinations on time.
If you travel with different transport providers, you have to share your personal and payment information with different parties one-by-one. Amaze eliminates this hassle by designing a streamlined registration process and uniform payment method. With just one account, users can sign up and pay for different transport services through the app.
Switching between different apps for varying modes of transportation can be tedious. Apart from the fact that the switching itself is time-consuming, these apps often present different interfaces and user experiences. This can be confusing for the end user. Amaze simplifies the process by bringing everything into a single, uniform interface. From checking out at the station to unlocking a shared car, it's all done within Amaze's smooth user experience.
Managing travel expenses when using multiple transport providers can quickly become overwhelming. To address this, we integrated a cost overview into Amaze, enabling users to easily track all their expenses. With filtering and exporting capabilities, those monthly travel expense reports will be a breeze.
The design is entirely component-based, allowing a short time-to-market for new features. These building blocks ensure that Amaze can move as quickly as the mobility market.
