With a continuous rise in orders via mobile, it quickly became clear that Intergamma needed to bring their valued, positive in-store experience to the palm of their customers' hands. From a complete product range and inspiration through themes to activation with current promotions and brochures.

Based on interviews, site visits, and mapping out various DIY and home improvement activities, we developed a DIY journey. This journey consists of six steps and applies to every imaginable project. Using this journey as a foundation, we organized the mobile touchpoints.

That's why we developed a unified design system for GAMMA and Karwei's e-commerce platform and mobile apps. In the design system, we used as many shared components as possible, while still ensuring each brand maintained its unique look and feel.
To support the propositions of both GAMMA and Karwei, each app was equipped with its own features. From personalization at GAMMA to inspiration and visualization at Karwei. With the apps, customers can, among other things, benefit from discount coupons, scan products in the stores, view detailed information, and find the nearest GAMMA or Karwei location, including stock availability.

Every day, the DIY enthusiast benefits from the digital transformation we’ve achieved together with Intergamma. And that’s what it’s all about. But for us, it’s also important that our client is satisfied with our approach and the outcome.
